Question formats

Every question has a format, and the format decides two things at once: how the question prints, and how the answer is marked. Multiple choice, true/false, a numeric answer and a short written answer are the everyday four; further formats — filling in blanks, completing a table, matching, ordering, selecting from a passage — are being added through the beta. This guide will cover each format, what it looks like on the printed paper, and how its marks are awarded.
