Identifying students

AutoMark matches each paper to a student on your roster using the name written on the paper. Anything it can’t match confidently is handed to you rather than guessed at, and any match can be changed while the run is still open. Getting a paper onto the wrong student is the worst thing marking software can do, so the whole step is built to be reversible right up until you commit. This guide will cover how matching behaves with nicknames and similar names, assigning an unmatched paper, and correcting an assignment after commit.
