AutoMark documentation

Mark a class set in minutes — and confirm every mark before it counts.

AutoMark reads scanned, handwritten class tests and marks each answer against the answer key you set. You build the test once — questions, marks, and the key — print the papers, hand them out, then scan the completed pile back in as a PDF.

Every answer AutoMark reads is checked against the scan before it counts. Answers that pass that check are marked automatically. Anything that doesn’t pass is put in front of you with the cropped handwriting beside it, so you can confirm the reading or override it in a keystroke. Nothing reaches a student’s record until you commit the run.

Marks in AutoMark are teacher-confirmed, never solely automated. Papers are matched to your class roster by name, and you can reassign any paper to the right student before you commit. After you commit, corrections are still possible — and they’re recorded rather than silently overwritten.
